Music for Kids

Learning music, helps children develop life skills such as how to persevere when working towards a goal. Music teaches children to develop courage by trying new and challenging things. Music teaches children to stay focused by understanding how to use different approaches to meet a goal. Children learn how to use their creative abilities and engage their imagination at the same time, when they practice and learn music.
Here are just a few of the benefits of having a real life teacher for your individual music lessons:
- ACCOUNTABILITY: Studies show that when we are accountable to someone we are far more likely to stay the course. So having a teacher and involved parents keeping the student accountable for practice and lessons is enormously beneficial.
- FEEDBACK: The way the student sits, holds the guitar or how they place their fingers over the keys/strings is invaluable. Students will learn faster under the teachers guidance because the correction process is regular.
- STRUCTURE:A good teacher will provide the structure we needed especially in the early stages. For many students it is hard to know where to start. Learn from a professional and let them show you how they do what they do and avoid common mistakes and pitfalls.
- INSPIRATION: A good teacher is inspiring. Having a lesson once a week will get students motivated and keep them on track.
